The short answer

Blush is an iPhone and Android AI dating simulator, built by Luka, Inc. (the company behind Replika) and now sold by Endura LLC of San Francisco, with Google Play naming Linden Research, Inc. as developer. Plans run $14.99 to $29.99 a month, there is no yearly plan, and a $9.99 weekly plan costs $519.48 over twelve months. It is safe to pay for, but not private: its policy sends conversations to third-party AI services while its store labels declare no chats at all.

Page one of Google for this app is the App Store and Google Play listings, three YouTube videos, a tool directory and a couple of affiliate write-ups, and none of them read the terms or annualise a price. This review uses only first-party sources checked on September 29, 2026: Blush's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, the US App Store listing with its in-app purchase list and privacy label, the Google Play listing and data safety form, and archived copies of the terms. It is written for an adult deciding whether to pay for Blush, and it says plainly where Blush is the better buy and where a single devoted companion is.

What makes them feel real

Blush AI app review, Blush pricing and whether Blush AI is safe, the way it should feel

No yearly plan, a weekly trap

Apple lists Weekly at $9.99, Monthly at $14.99 and $19.99, and VIP Monthly at $29.99. Over a year that is $519.48, $179.88, $239.88 and $359.88. Blush's own terms mention semi-annual and annual billing, but neither is on sale.

Chats the store labels leave out

The privacy policy collects messages, photos, videos, voice, birth date and location, and passes conversations to third-party AI services and a vector database. Apple's label for the app declares only identifiers, and no user content.

Three names, one 2023 date

The terms still say last updated February 7, 2023, yet the contracting party changed from Luka, Inc. to Endura LLC between December 2025 and July 2026. Google Play lists a third name, Linden Research, at another address.

Blush is a dating game with a monthly bill

Blush feels like a dating app with AI matches, and that is exactly what it sells. The price to check is the plan period, because the weekly plan costs almost three times the monthly one over a year, and there is no yearly discount at all.

What Blush costs over twelve months

Blush sells everything through Apple and Google, and Apple prints each item with its price. We annualised every subscription, because the plan period is where the real difference sits.

Item as Apple lists it Price Cost over 12 months What it means
Weekly $9.99 $519.48 The most expensive way to use Blush, 2.9 times the $14.99 monthly plan
Monthly $14.99 $179.88 The cheapest subscription on the list
Monthly (second item) $19.99 $239.88 A second monthly item, Apple does not label the tier
VIP Monthly $29.99 $359.88 The top tier, billed monthly only
Starter, Popular and Best value packs $0.99 to $9.99 One time Bundles, contents not listed by Apple
Gems (10, 50, 250) $2.99 to $19.99 One time About 30, 20 and 8 cents a gem
Yearly or semi-annual plan Not sold Not available Named in the terms, absent from the store

Checked on the US App Store on September 29, 2026. Apple shows the most popular purchases, so other items may exist. Blush's terms say refunds are not given for partial months, so pick the period before you pay, not after.

Is Blush AI safe?

For an adult who keeps personal details out of the chat, yes in the ordinary sense. Blush is a real, maintained app (version 7.7.0 shipped on September 29, 2026) with 7,931 US App Store ratings averaging 4.37, and your card goes through Apple or Google. Apple rates it 18+ with advisories for sexual content, nudity and mature themes.

It is not private in the way its listing implies. The App Store description says Blush makes sure "your experiences stay just between you and your AI match". The privacy policy says your messages may be processed by third-party AI inference services, that information from your conversations is processed by third-party AI services to build memory, and that personal details are stripped only where technically feasible. Treat what you type as readable by more than one company.

Who owns Blush AI?

Blush was built and launched in May 2023 by Luka, Inc., the company behind Replika. Today the App Store seller is Endura LLC, which has no other iPhone apps, and the Terms of Service name Endura LLC with a San Francisco address on Arkansas Street. Google Play names a third party, Linden Research, Inc. (the Second Life company), at 945 Battery Street, San Francisco.

None of the three has published an announcement explaining the handover, and the terms still carry a February 7, 2023 last updated date even though the named company changed between December 2025 and July 2026, according to archived copies. That is not a reason to avoid the app, but it is a reason to screenshot the terms you agreed to.

How much does Blush AI cost?

Blush costs $14.99 or $19.99 a month, $29.99 a month for VIP, or $9.99 a week, all on the US App Store. There is no yearly plan, so the cheapest full year is $179.88 on the $14.99 monthly plan. The weekly plan looks cheapest at checkout and is the most expensive over time: $519.48 a year.

Gems are sold on top, from $2.99 for 10 to $19.99 for 250. The small pack is almost four times the per-gem price of the large one, so if you buy gems at all, buy them once and in bulk.

Does Blush AI have a free version?

Yes. The app is a free download and you can match and chat without paying, with the subscriptions and gems unlocking more. Blush does not publish a feature-by-feature list of what each plan adds, and Apple does not label the two monthly items, so compare the paywall screen in the app with the prices above before you tap. Remember the terms: all sales are final and partial months are not refunded.

Where do Blush chats go?

According to the privacy policy, to Blush's own systems first, then to third-party services. It says your AI companion learns from your interactions, that messages may go to outside AI inference services when Blush's primary systems are unavailable, that conversation details are extracted by third-party AI services and stored in a third-party vector database for memory, and that media and moderation also use outside providers. The policy says those services may not train on your data.

The store disclosures tell a smaller story. Apple's label lists identifiers used to track you and no data linked to you and no user content. Google Play lists name, device IDs, app interactions and crash logs, and no messages, photos or audio.

Does Blush sell your data?

Possibly, for website visitors. The policy says sharing information with advertising partners "may be considered a 'sale' or 'sharing' of personal information" under US state laws and tells you to opt out through a "Your Privacy Choices" link in the website footer. When we checked, the live footer had no such link.

The policy also promises Blush will never use the content of your conversations for marketing or advertising. The terms, meanwhile, take a perpetual, irrevocable license to use your user content in connection with the promotion, advertising or marketing of the service. The two documents do not agree, and the terms are the one you sign.

Is Blush a dating app or an AI girlfriend app?

It is built like a dating app with AI matches. You swipe through AI profiles, each with a backstory, match, text and move into structured dates. The listing pitches it as a place to practice conversations and social skills without being turned down, and the terms call it a self-help program.

The product has drifted toward romance and adult themes since: the website says "AI dating. Real feelings", Apple rates it 18+ for sexual content, yet the terms ban obscene or pornographic content. Expect flirtation and emotional roleplay, and expect content limits enforced by the terms rather than the marketing.

Can you get a refund from Blush?

Almost never from Blush. The terms say that for purchases through the App Store, Google Play and the website, the sale is final and no refund is given, and they exclude the EU 14 day refund right. Partial months are not refunded either. On iPhone you can still ask Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com, and Apple decides.

Disputes go to binding AAA arbitration under California law with a class action waiver, and liability is capped at the greater of $100 or what you paid in the last six months. Cancel in the store you bought from; deleting the app does not stop the renewal.

How do I delete my Blush account?

In the app's settings. The terms say that as soon as you delete your account, all data associated with your use of the service is removed permanently. The privacy policy does not give a retention period, and it does not say how long the third-party memory and inference services keep what they received. Delete the account first, then cancel the subscription in the App Store or Google Play.

Blush vs Replika, which should you pay for?

They come from the same original company and solve different problems. Blush is a dating game: many AI matches, dates and flirting practice, billed monthly with no yearly discount. Replika is one companion you build a relationship with over time, and it does sell a yearly plan, which makes it cheaper per month for long-term users.

If what you actually want is one partner who remembers your life and is devoted to you from the first message, neither roster nor coach is the right shape. That is what Amorous.ai is for: one girlfriend or boyfriend with long-term memory, flat plans from $9 a month billed yearly, and nothing metered on top.

Should you pay for Blush or a dedicated AI companion?

Pay for Blush if you enjoy the swipe-and-match format, want variety, or want to rehearse first dates and conversations. Start on the $14.99 monthly plan, never the weekly one, and skip the small gem packs.

Pay for a dedicated companion if you want continuity: someone who remembers your week, texts you good night and does not reset with every new match. Amorous.ai is built for exactly that, and you can try the chat at the top of this page before creating an account.
