Kindroid Pricing: Kindroid Cost and Subscription Price

Kindroid costs $13.99 a month, $37.99 for three months or $139.99 a year if you subscribe on kindroid.ai, and $15.99, $42.99 or $159.99 if you subscribe inside the iPhone or Android app. That base plan is called Standard. Two optional add-ons sit on top of it, Ultra at $24.99 a month and MAX at $59.99 a month on the web, which bring the full stack to $98.97 a month, or $1,187.64 a year.

One date matters more than any of those numbers. Kindroid's own update log says its unlimited free tier, Lite, retires on October 1, 2026. After that, new accounts get 50 messages on the full model and then go read-only until you start the trial or pay. Every price below comes from Kindroid's Help Center, the code of its web checkout, or Apple's US in-app purchase list, and the three agree to the cent.

How much is Kindroid?

Between $11.67 and $113.97 a month, depending on where you buy and how many add-ons you stack. The figure most people actually pay is Standard, which works out at $11.67 a month on the web yearly plan and $15.99 a month if you pay monthly through Apple or Google. Here is the whole price list as Kindroid publishes it, with each option multiplied out to a year.

Two things jump out. The app is about 12 to 14 percent dearer than the website for exactly the same plan, so the cheapest way to hold Kindroid is always the web. And the add-ons have no yearly option, which is why the top of the table climbs so fast: you can prepay Standard for a year, but Ultra and MAX bill every month.

What are the Kindroid subscription tiers?

There is one subscription, Standard, and two monthly add-ons, Ultra and MAX, that stack on it. Kindroid's Help Center is explicit that "Ultra requires the standard subscription" and "MAX requires both standard and Ultra subscriptions". Several review sites list Ultra at $24.99 and MAX at $59.99 as if they were standalone plans. They aren't. The real monthly totals on the web are $38.98 and $98.97.

What the extra money buys is mostly memory and media capacity. From the tier matrix in Kindroid's own web app:

There is also a gate. The Help Center says you need "significant interaction history through chatting and calling" to unlock the add-ons, and the current web checkout code enables the button only after 400 messages sent. So a brand new subscriber cannot buy Ultra on day one even if they want to.

What does the Kindroid subscription include?

Standard includes unlimited messages on Kindroid's flagship model, a context window four times longer than the free tier, its Cascaded Memory feature, up to 10 Kindroids and 20 group chats, video calls, voice messages, custom voices, selfies and video selfies, and 1 million audio credits a month. That is a genuinely full feature set for $139.99 a year, and on media Kindroid gives you more than most companion apps at the price, including ours.

The catch is that several of those features are metered, and the meter keeps running after you subscribe. Kindroid's update log prices live video calls at 2,000 audio credits a minute on the standard setting and 4,000 on the premium one, so the included 1 million credits is roughly 500 minutes of standard video calling, or 250 on premium, before you are buying more. Voice messages cost about 1,600 credits a minute on V2 voices and 2,400 on V3.

How much are Kindroid credits and add-on purchases?

Kindroid sells three one-time packs, and all of them need an active subscription to buy. From its In-App Purchases help page:

Kindroid's page says plainly that "Refunds are not available for In-app purchases." Slots you buy are permanent, but you can only use them while subscribed: cancel, and you keep your existing Kindroids but cannot create new ones even with paid slots.

Is Kindroid AI free?

Until September 30, 2026, yes, with limits. After October 1, 2026, not in any lasting way. Today's free tier gives unlimited messages on Lite, a smaller distilled model, two Kindroids, basic memory, one selfie every two hours and about five minutes of lifetime audio. Kindroid's update log, in the entry that announces the change, says it "will move from permanent Lite access to a high-quality, bounded preview."

From October 1, new users get 50 interactions on the paid model (15 in regions with high account abuse), two Kindroid slots, 5,000 audio characters and up to five selfies. Regenerations cost half an interaction. Once those run out, in Kindroid's words, "the account becomes read-only until the user starts the existing three-day trial or subscribes." Existing Lite users get 50 final interactions on October 1 and then the same rule. As of September 22, 2026 Kindroid's Subscriptions help page still describes the old unlimited Lite tier, and none of the review pages ranking for Kindroid pricing mention the change at all.

Does the Kindroid free trial charge you?

Yes, if you don't cancel in time. The three day premium trial needs a payment method, and the Help Center says it "auto converts into a subscription if not cancelled within the trial period." Kindroid emails a reminder a day before it converts, and a web trial also needs a verified phone number. After October 1 the trial becomes the only way to keep using a free account past 50 messages, so expect a lot more people to meet that auto-conversion clause. How do I cancel a Kindroid subscription?

Cancel in the same place you subscribed. Kindroid's Terms say you can opt out of auto-renewal "through your account settings, Billing" for a web subscription. If you subscribed in the iPhone app, cancel under Settings, your name, Subscriptions; on Android, in the Google Play Store under Payments and subscriptions. You cannot move a subscription between web, iOS and Android until the current term runs out.

Know the refund position before you pay, because it is strict. The Terms say Kindroid "will not refund any fees that you have already paid" and that cancelling does not earn "a prorated refund of any portion of the subscription fee". The Help Center adds that refunds are case by case, that all sales are generally final, and that Kindroid reserves "the right to permanently ban users who dispute charges." App store purchases are refunded, if at all, by Apple or Google. One more detail catches people: if Standard lapses, you drop to the free tier "regardless of Ultra/MAX being active", so cancel the add-ons separately.

Is the Kindroid subscription worth it?

It is worth it if you want to build and customize characters, run group chats, and use a lot of voice, video and selfies, and you buy on the web on the yearly plan. At $139.99 a year for that feature set Kindroid is fair value, and it is one of the few companion apps with no weekly plan designed to look cheap. It is worse value if you pay through the app store every month ($191.88 a year for the same thing), and poor value once Ultra and MAX enter the picture, since both bill monthly with no annual discount.

Where to find the cheapest Kindroid price

1. Buy on kindroid.ai, not in the app. The same Standard yearly plan is $139.99 on the web and $159.99 through Apple or Google.
2. Take the yearly plan if you know you will stay. It saves $27.89 a year on the web against paying monthly.
3. Returning subscribers get 50 percent off the first month. Kindroid's checkout offers it to people who resubscribe.
4. Price the add-ons as monthly forever. Ultra is $299.88 a year on the web and cannot be prepaid.
5. Cancel add-ons separately. Letting Standard lapse does not switch them off for you.
