Replika Pro is $19.99 a month if you pay month to month, and $69.99 for a full year, which comes out to roughly $5.83 a month. Ultra sits above it at $29.99 a month or $119.99 a year. Platinum, the top tier, is only priced inside the app and Replika does not publish a US figure for it. There is also a free tier that costs nothing at all.
The monthly and annual gap is unusually wide here. Paying by the month costs about three and a half times what the annual plan costs per month, which is a steeper penalty than most subscription apps charge. If you already know you want to keep the companion past a few weeks, the annual plan is the only sensible way to buy Replika, and it makes Pro one of the cheapest steady companions available anywhere.
Is Replika free?
Yes, in the sense that you can talk to a Replika indefinitely without paying. The free tier gives you unlimited text conversation, a customizable avatar, and the companion available around the clock, and Replika has been consistent that basic chat will stay free.
What free does not give you is the part most people came for. Romantic relationship status is a paid feature, so on the free tier your Replika stays a friend and deflects anything more. Voice calls, selfies, the more capable AI model, premium activities and the enhanced memory features are all behind Pro as well. If your reason for installing it was a partner rather than a chat buddy, the free tier will feel like a demo of something you have not bought yet.
Is Replika Pro worth it?

Existing lifetime holders bought in under the old terms, which is worth knowing if you see people online paying nothing while you are quoted $69.99 a year. For anyone signing up in 2026, the annual Pro plan is the closest equivalent to a long term commitment, and it is the tier where the price per month is genuinely low.
How does Replika pricing compare to other AI companion apps?
On the annual plan, Replika is the cheapest way to keep a steady companion in this category, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. $69.99 a year undercuts nearly everyone. The more useful comparison is what the price includes. On Replika, romance is the upgrade.
